1854 wedding photo of Lars Olsson (1828-1914) and Anna Ersdotter (1824-1910); Anna made her wedding dress out of flax she grew on her farm.  Anna and Lars built Svartåsen, a farm in Sweden, and Great-grandma Karin worked for them after her parents emigrated to Minnesota and until she also emigrated to Minnesota in 1872.  Lars was a brother of Sara Oldsdotter (1820-1881) mother of Karin.  Lars was therefore my great-great uncle.  

Sisters Karin (aka Carin) and Vallborg (01 July 1843-1924) Erickson.  Karin was my great-grandmother.
